This product must be installed by a certified electrician who can issue a Code of Compliance for completed work. AA Solar can provide this service, or you can choose from anyone on the SEANZ-endorsed installers and electricians list. This excludes mobile, motorhome, and marine installs that do not require 230V AC componentry.
PERC - Passivated Emitter and Rear Contact
At its core, a PERC solar cell is simply a more efficient solar cell, meaning solar panels built with PERC cells can convert sunlight into usable electricity more efficiently.
Monocrystalline Solar Panels
As the name suggests, they are created from a single continuous crystal structure. They have the highest efficiency rates since they are made from the highest-grade silicon and are very space-efficient.
Half-Cut Cells
Half-cell modules have solar cells cut in half, improving the module’s performance and durability. Traditional 60- and 72-cell panels will have 120 and 144 half-cut cells, respectively. When solar cells are halved, their current is also halved, so resistive losses are lowered, and the cells can produce more power. Smaller cells experience reduced mechanical stresses, so there is a decreased opportunity for cracking. Half-cell modules have higher output ratings and are more reliable than traditional panels.

(This excludes mobile or motorhomes and marine kitsets/products that do not require 230V AC componentry), to be sent to a SEANZ-authorised installer, registered electrician, or professional installer for implementation to ensure all safety standards are met and to remove all potential risks and dangers for the end consumer.
