OPzV 2V Tubular Gel Batteries are ideal for Renewable Energy Islands (Solar/Wind) and off-grid applications: BTS, mobile phone stations, signalling, lighting, or high-capacity applications in areas with an unstable grid and unreliable power supply.

The OPzV series adopts an Immobilised Gel and Tubular Positive Plate technology. It offers high reliability and stable performance. Using a die-cast positive grid and patented active material formula exceeds the DIN standard values and offers 20+ years of design life in float service. It is very suitable for cyclic use under extreme operating conditions. This series is recommended for telecom outdoor applications, renewable energy systems and other harsh environment applications.

This product must be installed by a certified electrician who can issue a Code of Compliance for completed work. AA Solar can provide this service, or you can choose from anyone on the SEANZ-endorsed installers and electricians list.

This excludes mobile, motorhome, and marine installs that do not require 230V AC componentry.

True Gel technology is for any deep cycle application where superior performance and longer life are required. 2V cells are designed to get maximum capacity within limited spaces, can be laid on their sides, and are stackable. The OPzV 2V Tubular Gel Batteries make replacing single cells easier over time than a whole battery bank.

NB: You MUST have a GEL charger and GEL rating charging systems for these batteries. (OR AGM equivalents).

As an authorised SEANZ Parts Supplier and Installer, we require all solar parts covered by AS/NZS Standards 4509, 4777, 5033 and 5139. (This excludes mobile or motorhomes and marine kitsets/products that do not require 230V AC componentry), to be sent to a SEANZ-authorised installer, registered electrician, or professional installer for implementation to ensure all safety standards are met and to remove all potential risks and dangers for the end consumer.
