The EPEVER UPower Series combines an inverter and charge controller for PV/solar applications, making it suitable for various off-grid scenarios. It's ideal for remote areas with unreliable power sources with nominal battery voltages of 12V/24V/48V and continuous power ranging from 800W to 4000W. Not compatible with lithium batteries, it features MPPT technology, various protective functions, and a 4.2" display for real-time data. The UPower series offers a reliable, responsive solution for energy storage and use in off-grid environments.
This product must be installed by a registered electrician with a parallel generation/solar endorsement (from September 1st 2025) who can issue a Certificate of Compliance and Electrical Safety Certificate for completed work. AA Solar can provide this comprehensive service. Alternatively, we can work with your chosen SEANZ-endorsed installers and electricians, providing them with the products' Supplier Declaration of Compliance (SDoC) and the supporting documentation they need.
(Excludes RV and Marine installations that do not require 230V AC componentry)

EPEVER UPower Series Features Explained
EPEVER inverter/charge controller UPower series for PV/Solar applications. Suitable for solar, car, boat, camping, outdoor, caravan, motorhome, etc. It is ideal for use in remote areas with many hours of sunshine and a lack of reliable suppliers.
- Nominal battery voltage: 12V / 24V / 48V
- Continuous power: 800W/1600W/2400W/4000W
- Maximum power: 2000W/4000W/6000W/10000W (short-term peak)
- compatible with Ebox Wifi for remote control and monitoring
-
NOT compatible with Lithium batteries!
- 2 Years Warranty
The function of the integrated MPPT charge controller ensures fully digital and efficient energy storage and use. The inverter with integrated charge controller of the UPower series converts 12/24V/48V direct current into 220 / 230V 50 / 60Hz alternating current with a pure sine wave. The manual adjustment of the utility and PV electricity charges enables the ideal ratio of your energy use. This makes the UPower particularly convincing in remote environments with its reliability and responsiveness.
As an authorised SEANZ Parts Supplier and Installer, we require all solar parts covered by AS/NZS Standards 4509, 4777, 5033 and 5139. (This excludes mobile or motorhomes and marine kitsets/products that do not require 230V AC componentry), to be sent to a SEANZ-authorised installer, registered electrician, or professional installer with parallel generation/solar endorsement (from September 1st, 2025) to ensure all safety standards are met and to remove all potential risks and dangers for the end consumer.

Please call us on 09 887 9767 to discuss the legal requirements for system design, installations, and commissioning. This includes the Supplier Declaration of Compliance (SDoC), Certificate of Compliance (CoC), Electrical Safety Certificate (ESC), Record of Inspection (ROI), Distributed Generation Application (DG Application) under the EDB network (Electrical Distribution Business), and the electricity retailer's approval.
Key Requirements:
- The installer must provide a Certificate of Compliance (CoC) for the work they completed to ensure the installation is compliant with 5033, 4777, and 4509. (where applicable and within 20 working days)
- An independent inspector must inspect the installation and complete the Record of Inspection. (ROI). Within 20 working days
- The installing electrician or inspector must also sign an Electrical Safety Certificate (ESC) before final connection to the network.
- The registered electrician signing off the COC and or ESC must have a mains parallel generator endorsement on their practising licence (from September 1st 2025)
- It is the inspector's responsibility to enter the ROI on the High-Risk database within 20 working days of issuing the ROI.
